Ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games, the iconic symbol was mounted onto the Eiffel Tower to celebrate Paris’ role as the host city.

Other photographers have taken similar shots at past Olympic Games. In 2012, Luke MacGregor photographed the full moon amid the Olympic Rings hanging from the Tower Bridge for the London Olympics.
