Plot details to remember before watching season 4 of ‘Emily in Paris’

Emily (Lily Collins ) and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) in season three of “Emily in Paris.”

At the beginning of season three, Emily was presented with the choice between staying at her company, Savoir, with her American boss, Madeline (Kate Walsh), or joining Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) at her newly created firm, Agence Grateau.

She didn’t end up choosing either and instead secretly worked for both companies for a while — until she lost both jobs.

She quit Savior after being asked to move back to the US, and Sylvie fired her when she discovered Emily hadn’t fully committed to her new venture.

It all worked out in the end, though, as Sylvie rehired Emily by the end of the season.

Emily similarly found herself stuck between two choices in her dating life; she dated Brit Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) on and off for most of season three but still held a candle for neighbor Gabriel (Lucas Bravo).

However, at the end of the season, she found herself single.

Alfie ended their relationship because he didn’t want to be Emily’s second choice. While her path to finally being with Gabriel seemed clear, he revealed in the season finale that he and Camille (Camille Razat), although broken up, were going to have a baby together.

Gabriel finally opened his own restaurant but was left at the altar by Camille

Amid Gabriel’s busy work schedule, Camille grew close to Sofia (Melia Kreiling), an artist client. The two have an affair, which Emily discovered after accidentally walking in on them kissing at Alfie’s leaving party.

Camille and Sofia took a trip to Greece together, but Camille broke things off and returned home after discovering she was pregnant.

In a moment of spontaneity, she proposed to Gabriel before he had a chance to do it himself but opted not to tell him about her affair.

At the end of the season, while Camille and Gabriel were not married, it was left unclear what they planned to do about the pregnancy.

Mindy embarked on a new romance and also got the news that her group had been selected for Eurovision
Luc (Bruno Gouery), Julien (Samuel Arnold), and Sylvie Grateau (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) in season three of “Emily in Paris.”

While Sylvie managed to convince Luc and Julien (Samuel Arnold) to leave Savoir for her new firm, she struggled with the logistics of starting afresh with no office space and no clients.

However, by the end of the season, Agence Grateau had moved out of Sylvie’s apartment and begun to build a new client list, including the French label Ami.

Elsewhere, Sylvie continued to date her boyfriend, Erik (Søren Bregendal), while remaining estranged from her husband, Laurent (Arnaud Binard).

However, in a surprise twist, Sylvie and Laurent began having an affair, which prompted Erik to call things off.

While Sylvie appeared content with giving her marriage another go, she questioned her decision after Laurent told her he was opening a new club with Louis de Léon (Pierre Deny), someone Sylvie would rather avoid due to how their paths crossed in the past.
